Tomorrow’s paper

WILKIE SK RCMP REPORTS for May 2, to 8, 2017

RCMP received a report of a vehicle causing damage to a business. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a complaint of fraud. Information sent to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries.

There was also one traffic complaint.

WILKIE SK RCMP REPORTS for April 25 to May 1, 2017

Members assisted an individual with questions about property. The individual was informed to discuss the situation with a lawyer as it is civil in nature.

RCMP received a complaint of assault but it was unfounded.

Members acted as mediators in a disagreement between an employer and an employee.

Police received a complaint of a hit-and-run causing damage to a vehicle. Reported for insurance purposes.

A 73-year-old male from Biggar SK was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and failure to provide a breath sample during a traffic stop in Landis, Saskatchewan.

A 33-year-old Wilkie male was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle during a traffic stop.

There were also two false 911 calls.

WILKIE SK RCMP REPORTS for April 18 to 24, 2017

RCMP received a report of an abandoned all-terrain vehicle. Members located the owner who agreed to move the vehicle.

There was a report of a lost wallet. Wallet had not been turned into police.

Police received a complaint of uttering threats but it was unfounded.

Members are investigating a complaint of a town traffic sign being thrown at a residence garage.

There was also one false alarm.

RCMP received a complaint of damage to a residence. Members located the subjects of complaint and issued verbal warnings. The family of the subjects of complaint agreed to pay for the damages.

Member acted as a mediator in a family dispute.

Police are investigating a complaint of fraud.

WILKIE SK RCMP REPORTS for April 4 to 10, 2017

RCMP members executed a warrant during a traffic stop for Saskatoon Police Services.

Police received a report of found drug paraphernalia at a residential property in Scott, Saskatchewan. Members instructed the individual of how to properly dispose of the paraphernalia.

RCMP received a report of an individual displaying an inappropriate hand gesture but the individual could not be positively identified.

Members spoke to an individual regarding a child custody agreement.

There was also one false alarm.
